Sex with robots could make you a ‘psychopath’ warns a leading expert
Sexologist Lev Shcheglov says romping with robots will end badly
HAVING sex with robots could turn people into psychopaths, an expert has warned.
With robot sex dolls already on the market and sex industry pundits predicting cyborg brothels will open in the near future, sexologist Lev Shcheglov believes it will “end badly” and could result in “psychopathic disorders.”
Russian expert Lev say cyborg sex poses a serious danger to humans as people who rely on robots for intimate relationships will find it hard to reconnect with others.
He told Sputnik: "Sex with a robot is just a fake imitation. And it can lead to psychopathic disorders and isolation.
"Sex with robots won't bring into a person's life the emotion effect that gives us a true communion.
"You can eat pseudo-food to still hunger. But over time it will still end badly."
He added that the non-human interaction fails to bring the “emotions that shape and bring sense to our life.”
London sexologist and psychologist Kate Moyle believes that the idea of sex with robots might attract many people "who may have a fear of intimacy or rejection or who struggle with the vulnerability involved when it comes to human relationships."
Some believe the cyborg brothels would be healthy for out sex lives.
Gurpreet Singh told Daily Star Online: "Who are we to judge people who want to have sex with robots?
“Let people enjoy sex robots – they will work in the same way couples introduce a toy into a sexual relationship.
“And if both parties are agree, I see nothing wrong.”
