11 times celebrity kids were totally unimpressed by their amazing surroundings
Thought backstage trips, VIP access and the front row seats at designer fashion shows was fun? Not for these A-list kids
EVERY parent knows the despair of painstakingly organising an outing for the benefit of their kids, only for it to end in tears, tantrums or - worse still - total deflation.
But they can take comfort in the fact even the stars struggle to keep their children entertained, and these celebrity kids seem to be a particularly tough crowd.
Take the Kardashian - West brood, for example.
On Sunday Kourtney Kardashian took her children, Mason and Penelope, with niece North West (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter) to see Cats on Broadway followed by going backstage to meet the cast afterwards.
It would be a dream come true for youngsters the world over but as the kids posed with the gleeful cast of the highly-acclaimed musical their expressions were reminiscent of children forced to sit on Santa's lap at the local shopping centre.
Perhaps cousins Mason and Penelope have learnt the art of disillusionment from North West, who has already made quite a name for herself looking totally unimpressed at hotly-anticipated events the world over, namely at her own father's runway shows.
The Kardashian clan aren't the only kids who are hard to impress, however.
Take Jennifer Lopez's daughter, Emme, when they sat together on the coveted front row at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 show.
Little Emme looked bored out of her mind as the world's fashion elite paraded around in front of her.
J.Lo's other child, Maximilian, isn't a fan of A-lister events either.
When the superstar brought her kids along to the premiere of Home, Max (then aged 7) burst into floods of tears on the red carpet.
Even Jen's Hollywood smile couldn't detract from that temper tantrum.
Victoria and David Beckham's only daughter sent the internet into a frenzy when an image of her emerged having a mani and pedi.
Generally considered a mood-boosting treat, Harper Beckham looked totally over it as two therapists tended to her talons.
It seems she's already mastered that trademark Posh Spice pout!
Similarly unimpressed was Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's daughter, Suri, when her mum decided it would make a fun day trip to go to an art gallery together.
Unlike the rest of us who stormed art galleries en masse on school trips and enjoyed making our own questionable depictions of the artwork on our sketchpads and sniggering at the naked statues dotted around, Suri is clearly far too mature to enjoy such juvenile endeavours.

Prince George is also not one to be easily amused.
He became an internet meme sensation after his grumpy (yet totally adorable) baby face pervaded all of his parents' royal visits.
The young prince certainly didn't seem impressed by New Zealand, for example, as he was carried off the plane in his mother's arms looking like he couldn't believe he'd been taken him to such a godforsaken place.
And luckily, he hasn't lost his comical disinterested air as he's grown older.

When diva queen Mariah Carey achieved a life goal in 2015 and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, her kids clearly missed the memo about this being a *big* moment.
Dressed up for the event, the singer beamed with her coveted star for the paps but her twins Monroe and Moroccan (then age four) completely stole the limelight with their yawning, covering their ears during the ceremony and pretending to nap on her lap.
They're clearly fed up with being in the limelight already!

Not Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
As she made her way up the red carpet with her mum in a glitzy fairytale dress that little girls' dreams are made of, the four year old didn't even crack a smile!
