‘Bang! My lips actually exploded’: Filler addict tells Body Fixers how he dripped blood and pus on a shop counter after botched treatment

A FILLER addict has revealed his shock after his lips exploded and sprayed pus and blood over the counter of a phone shop.

Henry, who appears in E4’s new show Body Fixers, said he got hooked on fillers after trying them out a few months ago.

But a botched injection left him with a recurring infection which saw pus ooze from his lips when he least expected it.

He told the show: “I started having filler and it was the best thing I ever done. I loved it. They looked gorgeous.

“I was getting so much attention with people saying ‘Your lips are goal.’

“I got a bit addicted and I was going every six weeks and my lips were getting bigger and bigger and it all went wrong.”

The 20-year-old from Wells-next-the-sea told the show’s Dr Esho he was desperate for help.

He added: “Fillers were my life. Everybody knew me and I absolutely loved it, then bang! My lips actually exploded. It was like green thick pus. Awful.

“One time I was buying a new phone and I could feel my lip starting to swell and then it started to leak and it went on the counter. I mean blood, pus, anything you can think of that the body can make literally came out of my lip.

“The sales assistant just stood there (gaping in shock).

“I need to be fixed because it’s ruining my life. I don’t know when my lips are about to explode.”

Dr Esho – who dubbed it the “worst case of lip filler infection I’ve ever seen” – is seen operating on Henry and squeezing out the remaining filler, along with some pus and gunge.

But the pouting patient was thrilled with the luscious lips he was left with, praising Dr Esho’s “magic hands”.

Body Fixers is a sister programme to the E4 hit Tattoo Fixers.

The team consists of hairdressers Daniel and Nathan, beauticians April and Melissa, make-up artist Alex and cosmetic doctor, Dr Esho.

Body Fixers airs on Tuesday nights at 9pm on E4.
