Remember singer Daniel Bedingfield? This is what he looks like – and is up to – now
Some fans claim that the performer is completely 'unrecognisable'
NOUGHTIES pop star Daniel Bedingfield hit the big time 15 years ago, when he released his debut album Gotta Get Thru This.
The BRIT Award-winning singer, who was born in New Zealand, looks a lot less fresh-faced nowadays.
Even though Daniel’s first album sold over four million copies worldwide, he was not able to match the same success with Second First Impression in 2004.
Although two of the singles did make it into the UK Top 20, the collection received a lukewarm reception, reaching just number 8 in the album charts.
Since he stepped out of the limelight, fans have questioned what happened to Daniel.
In 2015, the songwriter had to reassure fans that he hadn’t passed away, after an internet hoax hoodwinked social media users.
He took to Twitter to say: “So apparently I’m not dead according to Google. Fair enough.”
Over 8,000 fans follow the 36-year-old star on Instagram, where he regularly posts selfies and travel photos.
Many social media users have remarked how different Daniel looks nowadays, with one claiming he’s completely “unrecognisable”.
Another Instagram commenter said: “Is this Daniel Bedingfield? I’m shocked!”
Despite that, some fans seem to be taken with his new bushy beard, branding it “awesome” and “strong”.
