Fashionistas are loving this bizarre trick which stops stilettos rubbing your toes – but would YOU try it?
ARE you wobbling your way through life, trying to navigate down the streets in painful high heels?
Well some fashionistas believe they've found a simple trick that could change that for good.
Dozens of women have taken to social media to urge others to TAPE their toes together before putting their favourite pair of heels on.
Apparently, this should allow you to enjoy a whole night on the town without your toes getting rubbed.
Before heading out, you can use a medical bandage, Scotch tape, rubber band or clear surgical tape to tape your third and fourth toes to each other.

And there is actually some logic behind this trick.
There’s a nerve which splits between your third and fourth toes, and causes pain in the ball of your foot.
Wearing high heels increases this pressure – but wearing tape removes the strain on this nerve, allowing you to dance the night away.
Apparently, it also keeps your muscles aligned – and the ball of your foot steadier.
Here are some more handy high heel tips...
- Apply deodorant to the inside of your shoes, to lubricate them, stop sweating and avoid blisters.
- New shoes with a too-smooth sole? Take a piece of sandpaper to the bottom of your heels, to roughen them up.
- Give them a test drive before you head out. Walk around for up to an hour to break them in.
- After your trial run, work out where the shoes could potentially rub and stick plasters on any painful spots.
- Use a nail file to rub away any rough edges inside your shoes and coat them with a thin layer of Vaseline, to get rid of any nasty edges.
Obviously don't do this in peep toe shoes, as you could end up looking a bit odd.
But does this tip actually work?
Social media users seem divided about whether or not the trick is worth the hassle.
While some were delighted that their toes had been rescued by a small bit of tape, others weren't so taken with the idea.
Some admitted that trying to bonkers piece of advice had left them feeling WORSE.
A Twitter user remarked: "I tried the things where you tape your third/fourth toes together so heels don't hurt so much.
"My feet still hurt but now my toes are stuck."
Another warned: "Don't ever tape your toes together in heels thinking it helps the pain. IT F******* MAKES IT 10 TIMES WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!"
This isn't the only fashion or beauty hack to take the internet by storm in recent weeks.
A recent report revealed that you've probably been applying your foundation wrong.
And another showed how you could give your beauty regime a boost with cheap items you probably already have in your cupboards.
