Adorable photos show pooches dressed in their best…so they can find a home
The pup's who are all looking to be adopted had their portraits taken in an array of outfits to highlight their plight
THESE adorable photos show pooches dressed in their Sunday best in the hope it will help them find homes.
Photographer Tammy Swarek came up with the idea of putting the dogs in an array of outfits, to help get them some loving new owners.
The pooches are all at the Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS) shelter in Arkansas, US.
And dressed in their fancy outfits any big hearted dog lover would be hard pushed not to want to make them a member of their family.
Swarek says she got her inspiration from Facebook where she had seen other animal portraits
Penny the pup is dressed up with a sunflower in her hair, while her friend Monnie Sue, is resplendent in a glamourous frock.
The Chihuahua mix, and around one year of age - she was left behind, tied to a cable when her previous owner moved out of town unexpectedly.
Meanwhile Shnerdy III poses for the camera whilst wearing dungarees and a straw hat.
Gillian, can be seen in a beautiful colourful flower headdress, while her pals Rascal and Pety were discovered abandoned on train tracks.
Mr Burns is dressed up in a suit and tie by Tammy and her team and Peggy Sue red gets her glam on in a red outfit.

Sammer Jammer, is a five-month-old Australian Sheperd Mix. He was abandoned by his mother in a lumber yard at three weeks of age. Now he's suited and booted lookign for a new home.
Some dogs had their threads donated by designers - Midnight wears a stunning headdress which was given by New York designer Joan Marentis Kelly.
Snoopdog keeps it real in dungarees and a plaid shirt, and gorgeous collie/ elkhound mix Precious wears a magenta pink dress. She was left at the shelter by her family because they couldn't take her to their new location.
Ms Wesson goes for period drama with a Tudor style ruffle, and Mackenzie has some turn of the century glam with his white top hat.
Big Dave goes for a professional look, showing he might have an interest in food with his chefs hat.
Tammy now makes headshots of every dog at UCAPS; "One of the key things I wanted to showcase with dressing the dogs up is their personality.
"I really wanted to make them look like people, and I want somebody to see that picture and have some type of a connection with the dog that they wouldn't ordinarily if it was shut in a cage.
"They get to see the animal in a different light and some of the dogs that wouldn't have any interest at all have had a dozen applications each."
