AN adult fair in Hong Kong has given us a glimpse of what sex could be like in the future.

The Asian Adult Expo was filled with life-like silicone dolls, virtual reality headsets, X-rated clothing and a host of fetish devices.

Hundreds of customers flocked to the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai to snap up the titillating products, which included vibrators, dildos and whips.

The trade event is believed to be one of the largest exhibitions of sex toys in the world.

The realistic plastic figurines proved popular among visitors and men were photographed checking out the varying sizes, colours and physical proportions.

The silicone toys are realistic in terms of weight and height, with the tallest measuring 140 centimetres high.

Extra body parts were displayed including legs bound in chains, interchangeable rubber heads and clip-on facial expressions.
