UNLESS you’re prepared to strip off and hit the nudist beach, it’s likely you’ll fall victim to awkward tan lines at some point.
But these celeb snaps prove that it doesn’t matter who you are – no amount of fame can spare you from the sun.
For instance, despite usually appearing airbrushed to perfection, the Kardashians have revealed that they are in fact human on more than one occasion.
They’re not the only celebs to suffer sunscreen slip-ups – with the likes of Megan Fox, Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift all sporting the tell-tale marks, too.
And even the Royal Family aren’t safe – as Zara Tindall was seen showing off distinctive bikini tan lines at her brother Peter Phillips’ 2008 wedding.
Meanwhile, sports stars can also fall victim to tan lines caused by shorts and other training gear, thanks to the many gruelling hours spent training outside.
Tennis star Rafael Nadal attended the Taste of Tennis event in New York on August 25 showcasing a more unique tan line – caused by the signature head band he wears during matches.
And many Olympians, including Team GB’s Alyson Dixon and Eilish McColgan, showed off the stark difference in skin tone caused by wearing shorts while preparing for their athletics events in Rio.
So if your favourite party dress is ever-so-slightly spoiled by that strappy bikini you wore by the beach this summer, don’t worry – it really does happen to everyone.
