From his lunatic behaviour to his hot body: This is why Celebrity Big Brother fans have fallen in love with Stephen Bear

As an expert on Celebrity Big Brother for 12 years, I thought I’d seen it all. The blazing rows, racy banter, bonking, and the brilliant tasks.
Then along came Stephen Bear, a little-known reality personality from Ex on the Beach. It was like the Jaws theme tune came on, and it hasn't stopped playing throughout the series.
Like a shark, Bear circled the other celebrities, striking when least expected. Sometimes, just because he seemed bored, he played with their feelings just to entertain him.
How has Bear’s behaviour affected the house?
Apart from his young posse of Chloe, Marnie, Lewis and sometimes Heavy D, Bear was the housemates’ worst nightmare.
His cunning ways even wound up reality-pro Renee Graziano from Mob Wives.
He caused mayhem with everyone from Loose Woman Saira Khan to singer Aubrey O’Day.
Bear left housemates like Ricky Norwood and Frankie Grande -who only wanted a good time - running for cover.
He even tested pal Lewis Bloor’s patience over coffee-gate - forgetting coffee’s gold dust in there.
And vandalising the school annual - a task that had brought some sunshine to the warring factions.
How’s Bear avoided eviction when many complain about him?
Early on, celebrities could give ‘eternal eviction’ to one housemate. There was a cartoon-like scramble to put Bear up. Pay back, at last!
But despite this, Bear’s survived practically a record number of evictions. It’s not all good news for Bear, though. I’ve seen online how many simply wanted to see his next instalment.
It’s like the craziest soap opera, people watch behind fingertips, cringing at his antics. They don’t like him, but they’re fascinated.
But some viewers absolutely love Bear
There are plenty claiming Bear has made the series. I don’t buy that. Evict Bear earlier and other celebrities would’ve had a chance to shine.
But many want him to win. I put this down to them liking the laughs he brings, the lust he brought, and they see him as a bit of a lunatic as the saying goes.
The laughs: Granted, Bear on form is funny.
Larking in the pool, doing daft things, creating Bear’s beach hut, putting on his war-paint, talking to the house zebra and dog, and more.
Viewers are reminded of the ‘Bear’ they know in real life - the life and soul of every party (the one the bouncers keep an eye on!).
The lust: When he got together with Chloe Khan it was no-holds-barred lust.
He nibbled her nipples right on camera. He gave her tons of tongue action and romped in different parts of the house.
Many women fantasise about such blatant lust. And men fantasise wishing they were a Bear-type who could get an up-for-it girl.
A bit of a lunatic:
Some viewers have loved it when he’s been a bit of a ‘lunatic’ – breaking all Big Brother’s rules. He’s put two fingers up to the authoritative voices coming over the loudspeakers and often refused to do as asked.
This appeals to that side in people who wish they could rebel against things in their daily life.
The hot body:
We can’t forget he’s got quite a physique. Many hot-blooded viewers will have enjoyed him prancing around in his shorts and swimwear. After a long day, staring at a beautiful body seems a treat.

What Bear needs
Personally, Bear’s one of my least favourite housemates ever.
Professionally, I’d love to get my paws on him and put him through behaviour boot camp.
I'd like to teach him the world isn’t all about him, anger management, and empathy for others.
As ex-housemate, broadcaster James Whale, said - Bear could be a decent person given guidance.
I’ll agree when I’ve proof he becomes a better person in his next round on reality TV.
