West End hotel is Soho worth it
The Nadler is a designer boutique hotel in the heart of the city with a 24-hour concierge team offering local tips
WHAT’S IT LIKE?
A designer boutique hotel in the heart of Soho. There’s no restaurant, gym or bar but you’re right in London’s West End so there’s plenty of choice nearby.
And it means rates at the hotel are lower, giving you a 5H room at 4H prices.
ROOMS ANY GOOD?
There are 78 interior-designed rooms. I stayed in a Nadler Deluxe. It was massive and could have slept four with a super-comfy king-size four-poster and a sofa-bed. It had everything you need and some fab extras. There’s free wifi and national phone calls, air conditioning, large HD TV, well-planned workspace and a fancy GHD hairdryer.
EAT THERE OR GRAB A PIZZA?
Who wants to eat at the hotel when you’re in the centre of London? With no restaurant or bar, all rooms have mini kitchens complete with microwave, fridge, kettle and my favourite – a Nespresso machine with capsules. Alcohol and drinks are served from the hotel “pantry” but the Nadler Soho also offers exclusive deals at local restaurants, bars and clubs. Soho’s famous bakery Princi is the hotel’s in-house breakfast partner, where you can order an in-room or sit-down breakfast.
WHAT ELSE?
The 24-hour concierge team of “local ambassadors” share their in-depth local knowledge of Soho’s top dining, leisure and fitness offerings. There’s access to a local gym while art fans will enjoy original works by French artist Ronald Diennet and British sculptor Hew Locke.
SO YOU’D GO BACK?
Definitely! The Nadler Soho is a great boutique hotel at affordable prices in the heart of London.
