KFC are now making suncream – and it even smells like CHICKEN

For people who want to emulate the Colonel’s impressive sun-kissed look, as well as smelling like their favourite fried chicken, there is now a sunscreen that can do both

IF you’re a KFC fanatic as well as a sun-worshipper, you’re going to LOVE this.

For people who want to emulate the Colonel’s impressive sun-kissed look, as well as smelling like their favourite fried chicken, there is now a sunscreen that can do both.

KFC have launched a special scented ‘extra crispy’ sunscreen – perfect for chicken-loving sunbathers.

It may not make much sense, but this is the same fast food chain that successfully released chicken-flavoured nail polish in Asia earlier this summer, so were kind of thinking ‘why not’ at this stage.

Following the nail polish launch, it seems KFC’s ambitions know no bounds, so this week they released 3,000 bottles of Colonel Sanders’ Extra Crispy Sunscreen - which boasts an SPF 30 and the sweet, sweet smell of fried chicken.

Just imagine, you can smell like fried chicken by the beach, by the pool – wherever it takes your fancy.

A KFC spokesperson told Fortune: “We’ve had a lot of fun with our Extra Crispy Colonel campaign this summer and the sunscreen idea seemed like a natural fit.

“Our chicken is hand breaded and freshly prepared in our kitchens all day every day, which makes the smell in our restaurants unparalleled.

“The Extra Crispy Sunscreen is a fun way to leverage that with our fans.”

Sadly for us Brits, all 3,000 of the limited edition bottles of the sunscreen have already been snapped up after they were offered for free to customers in the US on a first come, first served basis.

Somehow we’ll have to think of another way to stay protected in the sun whilst smelling of the good stuff…
