Remember Wagner from The X Factor? This is what he’s up to now…

His wacky personality and full-throttled performances won him tons of fans of the reality TV show

HE was the silver-haired, retired PE teacher who won a cult following when he won a place in the finals of The X Factor 2010.

Love him or loathe him, pretty much everyone had an opinion on Wagner.

The crooner was selected as Louis Walsh’s wild card, and his on-stage performances quickly became the stuff of X Factor legend.

As if his storming rendition of Ricky Martin’s She Bangs wasn’t enough, he also sent the audience into a spin when he took on Radiohead’s Creep and Robert Palmer’s Addicted to Love.

Luckily for fans the silky-voiced singer is still making music… although on a slightly smaller stage.

These days Wagner encourages his fans to get in touch with him via his official Facebook page, which he mans himself.

He takes orders for custom made videos, and all you need to do is drop him a message.

They don’t break the bank either. If you want him to wish a pal Happy Birthday for you, it’ll set you back £8.50.

Unfortunately for the singer, things haven’t always gone to plan.

He’s been landed in hot water in the past when he was duped into singing pro-IRA lyrics.

Wagner has also performed football songs which have angered fans from other teams, prompting him to apologise and promise to be careful about lyrics he agrees to.

The star has been in and out of the spotlight since his stint on series seven of The X Factor.

In 2014, he hit the headlines when his girlfriend Lydia, who was then 22 and 36 years younger than him, gave birth to their daughter Lilian Janine. The pair already had a one-year-old son called Leon.
