Is Usain Bolt a member of the Illuminati? Weird gestures sends conspiracy theorists into a spin

Olympic gold winner appears to give 'all-seeing eye' signs and 'occult' symbols

COULD Olympic hero Usain Bolt be a member of the Illuminati?

The medal-laden sprinter has been getting conspiracy theorists worked up with a series of mysterious hand gestures at the Rio Olympics.

Many believe the signs – including covering one eye and putting his fingers to his lips – are connected with the occult, or could point to him being a Freemason.

He has also been pictured in the past wearing a Masonic ring.

The Jamaican sprinter – who has bagged three gold medals in three consecutive games – is known for his “Lightning Bolt” gesture.

But a few unusual moves at the Rio games has sent the imagination of some running completely wild.

He was seen covering one eye with his palm in a gesture supposedly referring to the “all-seeing” eye of God – a symbol the theorists believe is used in both Freemansonry and the Iluminati.

He also held up up his hand to his eye, circling it in away that could also indicate the “eye” symbol.

Another shot shows him forming what they claim is the “sign of the beast”, joining his thumb, index finger and middle finger and separating the ring finger and little finger to form three sixes.

The 30-year-old also brought his fingers to his lips in a gesture which means “shhh”, suggesting keeping quiet.

However, this is a common signal used by triumphant sportsmen to imply they have silenced their opponents' fans.

Getting even wilder with the theories, the What is Real YouTube channel even found a sinister reason for his lane number.

They claimed that “In all his qualifying races and all his winning races was in lane 6. That’s 666.”

The commentator adds: “It’s just speculation. But it’s kind of weird he is doing all this occult symbols in lane six.”

Bizarre web theorists have even mused that Usain’s nickname “Lightning Bolt” signifies Lucifer.

They quote the Bible verse Luke 10:18: “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

The man behind What is Real said: “I’m simply identifying what’s right before us, right to our faces in pictures, in videos.

“This is not theory, I’m not speculating and saying Usain Bolt is Illuminati.

“But for whatever reason, for some weird, odd reason, he is displaying all the typical gestures of Masonry.

“He is even wearing a Masonic ring – and he just happens to be the world champion, three times in a row gold medalist in the 100m and 200m.

“It’s just very strange.”

But some fans were not happy about the conspiracy theorists, pointing out the athlete’s Christian faith.

One wrote: “Usain Bolt also made cross symbol before race...you always point negativity

Another added: “But Usain Bolt is a strong believing Christian. He is very hard working you are going too deep.”
