Going on holiday this summer? Fly from one of these airports if you want to fall in love

HOPING for a holiday romance this summer? Apparently it all starts before you've even hit your resort.

Yes, now it's even possible to boost your chances of a quick fling all thanks to where you fly in and out from.

According to app Happn, there are some airports where you're much more likely to lock eyes with a sexy stranger than others.

To be clear, we're talking about crushes here so whether it goes any further than that is going to be all down to your flirting skills.

The team at Happn looked at the amount of people who'd used the app in an airport, then actually connected with a 'crush'.

The data was taken from July, so we're talking peak holiday season for Brits.

To keep things purse-friendly, only European airports were considered.

Making the list was London's own Heathrow, which was the only UK airport included.

Perhaps unsurprisingly the city of love for a mention, thanks to Charles de Gaulle in Paris.

Also popular with those of the lookout for love was Copenhagen, Lisbon Portela and Stockholm-Arlanda.

Top of the list was Amsterdam Schipol, which polled an impressive 9,185 crushes.

Next was Istanbul Atatürk in Turkey, which racked up 7,483, with Heathrow coming in third with 6,053.

So there you go, if you're single and considering having a mini break maybe you could kill two birds with one stone.
