Can't decide what to have for dinner? Try this cheeseburger pizza.
It combines the best of both worlds.
Delicious crumbled burger patties and a nice homemade pizza base.
NGREDIENTS:
Flour for dusting
300g of Fresh pizza dough (recipe below)
400g of Grated mozzarella
100g of Tomato passata
2 Cooked beefburgers, broken into small pieces (recipe below)
75g of Sliced gherkins
Pinch dried oregano
American mustard

PIZZA DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
250g of Plain flour
1 x Teaspoon of salt
1 x Tablespoon of caster sugar
7g of Dried active baking yeast (one sachet)
2 x Tablespoons of olive oil
200ml of Warm water
BURGER MEAT INGREDIENTS:
250g of Lean beef mince
1 x Chopped onion
1 x Egg
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1. To make the dough, combine the flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a large bowl, before gradually adding the oil and warm water.
2. Knead until well combined before sprinkling out some more flour on a clean worktop and rolling the dough out into a pizza shape.
3. To make the burgers, combine the mince and finely chopped onion with a whisked egg, before adding salt and pepper to taste.
4. Refrigerate the burger patties for 30 minutes before frying over a medium heat for 10 minutes, before leaving to cool on the side.
5. Pour half the cheese out into a ring around the outside of the dough, and then fold the edge over to seal it.
6. Spread the tomato passata out across the dough.
7. Now top it off with some cheese.
8. Place the gherkin slices on top, before layering on the crumbled burger meat and oregano.
10. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees, until rosen and golden. Then serve with a drizzle of mustard.
