Rodrigo Alves faces Seventh nose job but says he has no regrets
THE MAN who has spent £300, 000 on plastic surgery to look like a Ken doll has revealed he now needs more surgery – after his nose was attacked by a flesh-eating bug.
Rodrigo Alves, who became an Instagram sensation after having 42 procedures including muscle implants and cheek sculpting, had his nose eaten away by necrosis after his SIXTH nose job.
Speaking on a Channel 5 documentary - which sees the 32-year-old Brazilian undergoing Lipoglaze treatments - he said: “After surgery the body is vulnerable and, unfortunately, I caught a bacterial infection that ate the insides of my nose.”
Rodrigo was rushed to hospital in Malaga, in April, after catching the bug and is still suffering the effects.
He said: “I’m left with breathing problems
“I’m going to have to have it done again. I’m going to have reconstructive rhinoplasty using cartilage from my ribs.”
Despite complications, he insists he would still have more surgery.
He said: “Things have gone wrong but I don’t regret.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and when I look in the mirror, I look beautiful.
I’m the fruit of my imagination, I am exactly what I wanted to be. I am perfection to my eyes.”
In the shocking documentary Rodrigo – who had his first nose job at 19 - lists the times he has gone under the knife.
He says his body is his pride and joy.
He said: “Male perfection is to me having symmetry. So a chiselled face, broad shoulders, a lean figure, a prominent jaw line, defined abs and a chest in proportion.

“I have had a hair implant, abrow lift, eye lifts, my ears pinned back, cheeks redesigned, my jawline shaped, I’ve had cheek implants twice, the sides if my lips cut out in order to give me a bigger wider smile. I have had fillers injected into my shoulders, biceps, triceps, my abs – my six pack is purely plastic surgery.
“I have the most beautiful six pack.”
Rodrigo admitted his looks gain him a lot of attention in the street.
He said: "People point at me and take photos. Some people want to touch me to see if I'm real.
"I get the double take like ‘Wow, he’s beautiful’, ‘Wow, he’s a freak’, ‘Wow, he’s ugly.’"
The Channel 5 show also features Janaid, who is considering having surgery after being bullied online for the shape of his nose.
But the wannabe model gets a shock when he talks to Rodrigo – and sees pictures of his nose after fillers went badly wrong.
Rodrigo told him: “The filler migrated from the bridge to the tip of my nose.”
He admitted he had two nose jobs to get rid of the filler and then picked up the infection.
He added: “I had necrosis, which is the death of the skin of my nose.”
Shocked Janaid gasped: “It’s horrifying looking at his nose. There’s no nose there.”
