Trauma for pregnant woman who was forced to give birth to her stillborn child following horror car crash killed her husband

A NEWLYWED bride was left devastated after her husband and unborn child were killed in a car crash - and she was forced to give birth to her dead son.

Pregnant Kristian Guerrero, 24, was driving down a highway in Bryan, Texas, on Tuesday with partner Fabian Guerrero-Moreno beside her when they were hit by an alleged drunk driver.

Fabian was killed and their unborn child sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

Kristian was transported to St. David's South Austin Medical Center where she is being induced today to give birth to the five-month-old foetus, named Fabian James Guerrero.

Student Shana Elliott, 21, who hit the couple, remains in Hays County Jail on charges she killed Fabian and the unborn child, according to family members.

Kristian and Fabian got married last November and were due to find out the sex of their baby this Sunday, according to a recent Instagram post.

has been set up by Kristian's aunt, Diane Castillo, to help her at this difficult time.

So far, nearly £5,316 ($7,000) has been raised.

On it, Diane wrote: "Baby Fabian has joined his daddy in heaven because of injuries sustained during the accident.

"(Kristian) is in so much pain, physically and emotionally... She lost her best friend, her soulmate, her son... Because a 21 year old decided to drink and drive."

Elliot, a senior at Texas State University, has reportedly been arrested twice already this year

She was still wearing her bikini when she veered across the highway and ploughed into the couple's car.

Elliot was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, second-degree felonies and an intoxication assault charge - a third-degree felony.
