‘Puffy face, droopy boobs and stretch marks…that’s my post-baby reality’: New mum makes inspiring photo post about why she’s happy not to ‘bounce back’

Dozens of women praised the blogger for being an 'inspiration'

A MUM has proudly shown off her post-baby body in order to prove to other women that they shouldn’t feel pressured to get back in perfect shape.

Olivia White, who runs mummy blog House of White, has shared the “post baby reality” that she’s not simply going to bounce back.

In a candid Facebook post, she revealed that she “couldn’t give a s***” about her “puffy face, droopy milk filled boobs, wider hips and belly full of stretch marks!!”

During the appeal to her followers, she reminded mums how much pregnancy changes their life, along with their bodies.

She explained: “I'm not the same person I was before I had babies, so why would I want my body to reflect something and someone I no longer am?

“Those droopy boobs fed my babies and grew them up big and strong.

“Those hips and rippled belly was home to my little babes for 9 months.”

Despite her positive message, Olivia admitted that there are days that she has some hang-ups about her body.

She revealed: “Some days I wish it didn't jiggle so much and was a bit firmer.”

While everyone has insecurities, she insists that it’s important for mums to cut themselves some slack because they’ve “earned it”.

Since Olivia uploaded the nude snap and honest message onto Facebook, her post has racked up over 2.2 thousand likes.

Dozens of internet users have also hailed Olivia as an “inspiration” and thanked her for giving them back a bit of confidence.

One Facebook user said: “Thank you for reminding us women that IT IS OKAY and that we should feel confident and comfortable with our amazing bodies and what they have been through.”

Another added: “As the mother of 4 boys I thank you for the reminder of what is important. Also you are gorgeous, us as women would be so much happier if we had someone like you in our lives.”
