Thinking outside the boxers

They’re now making sexy lingerie designed for MEN to wear too

Lacy undies and waist-trainer for blokes are flying off the shelves

EVER wish your man would ditch the baggy boxers for something more glamorous?

Fancy seeing your man in lacy Lycra or a sexy basque?

Well you can – because men’s lingerie is now a thing,

A new brand called Menagerie is offering lace pyjamas, boxers and even corsets for men in a bid to change their undies for something more appealing.

Founder Roman Snipe explained: “We want to bring more adornment and beauty to men’s fashion, but still remind people that it is a brand for men.”

The concept seems to be taking off. The Chantilly lace low-rose briefs, which retail at around £50, have sold out while the £75 waist trainer is flying off the shelves.

The Menagerie is described as an “Intimate apparel brand that provides an atmosphere of sensual pleasure” and claims it is “Embracing masculinity from the boardroom to the bedroom.”

But while the response has been positive, Sipe realizes the idea of manly lingerie is a tough sell. “Most straight guys don’t think they need it, or couldn’t see themselves actually buying a pair of lace underwear,” Roman tells lifestyle website Refinery29.

“However, there are a few who find it intriguing and simply ask things like, ‘Well, are they comfortable?’ ”

And are their ladies comfortable with it when they strip off.
