If you think those shocking moments on the show are a fix - you're wrong. It's as real as it gets and the film crew don't even interfere, unless the groom really, really gets carried away.
In an interview with , bride Jenni, who starred in the BBC One series in 2015, with her other half Andrew, said: "Sometimes the producers deliberately make things quite difficult for the grooms! For example, Andrew was furious that I was handed the bill at my hen do, because he was told that the hens pay for themselves and wasn’t allowed to put money toward it – he was so upset when he found out it had been made to look like he had planned for me to be landed with that bill."
The bride doesn't know a thing
One of the conditions of the show is that the couple must spend three weeks apart without contact, while the groom organises every aspect of the event.
That includes her wedding dress as well as the hen and stag parties, completely surprising the bride.
