But Dapper Laughs, whose real name is Daniel O’Reilly, is swapping pranks for prams as he is reportedly set to become a dad.
The 32-year-old joker from south London is expecting his first child with his secret long-term girlfriend Shelley Rae, a model who has posed for Zoo Magazine.
Dapper's close pal Gaz Beadle announced the happy news in his .
The Geordie Shore star, 28, revealed: "Love Island was the biggest show in the world this summer (who saw that coming). And Dapper Laughs is having a baby with his long-term girlfriend."
"But in the end that was the problem.
“People thought I was a lad with an iPhone running round shouting ‘proper moist’ at women.”
He added: “Dapper Laughs is a huge exaggeration of the stereotype of lad humour. It is an outrageous version of me when I was 15.
“We are supposed to laugh at it and mock it, people have lost sight that it's comedy. I am not a politician, I am not trying to make a point or change the way we live. I am just having a laugh.”
Dapper is believed to have met Shelley a couple of years ago when she was one of the glamour models hired to pose with him at a gig in Sheffield.

Shelley, who hails from Manchester, is prolific on Instagram and has over 73,000 followers.
She regularly shares racy snaps of herself in underwear, behind-the-scenes shots of modelling shoots and gorgeous selfies.
They are only pictured at one event together, a wedding, with Dapper gushing about her on his social media account, writing: "Me, me sweetheart @fortheraevers my best mate and his."
