Parents are outraged as kids’ TV ‘chef’ shows how to use a CONDOM to make a haggis
A boss at the Swedish broadcaster doesn't think the programme was inappropriate
THERE are a few things you can expect from a kids' TV show - presenters wearing bright clothes, cheesy music and nothing to risque.
That's the usual anyway, but it's not how one programme which aired in Sweden went down.
Can you spot the issue?
The show's and it's all about a puppet chef.
In the offending episode cook Bon was trying to make a haggis - a traditional Scottish dish which is made from sheep's innards, onion, spices and salt, all stuffed into the stomach of a sheep or something similar then boiled.
The problem was cheery old Bon didn't have a sheep's tummy to hand to stuff his concoction into.
"I’m watching (…) Bon who is today making haggis and is using a CONDOM as a balloon because there wasn’t a sheep’s stomach," one furious person wrote.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!??
"Disgusting, unethical and highly inappropriate."
Another gave an interview to newspaper and made her irritation known in no uncertain terms.
The woman had been watching the show with her six-year-old nephew and couldn't believe her eyes.
