A MCDONALD'S customer was repulsed after coming across a clew of worms lurking inside her burger packaging.
The outraged woman claims the critters were wriggling around inside her Filet-O-Fish wrapper, which she had bought at a branch in Singapore.
Disgusted at the find, Angela Qiqi took to social media to share shots of the mucky Maccies, as well as a video of the creepy crawlies on her packaging.
And the worst thing is that Angry Angela didn't even notice the worms until she had already finished the burger.
Her Facebook post slamming the popular fast food chain opened a can of worms for McDonald's employees, who Angela claims weren't very helpful when she pointed the worms out.
After bugging staff at Singapore’s West Coast Park for an explanation, Angela asked them to check the kitchen for any signs of the errant insects.
But she revealed in her Facebook post that she was "quite disappointed" when staff failed to take her concerns seriously.
After reporting the incident, her packaging was taken away as evidence, as McDonald's staff eventually started an investigation into the matter.
Although McDonald's bosses managed to worm their way out of it by offering Angela a full refund, the firm failed to apologise to her at the time, but she added that she has been contacted since.
Patricia Yong, Director of Operations of McDonald's Singapore, insisted that the firm takes customer feedback very seriously.
She said: "Let me emphasise that food quality and safety are our top priority.
"We are looking into this very closely and are doing everything we can to get all facts clear."
