Chilling footage seems to show a ghostly figure following a small child as he walks into a forest

THIS is the chilling video which claims to show a ghost following a young child as he walks into a forest.

In the clip, you can see a boy strolling towards the trees, but there's something sinister following the little lad.

As he walks, you can see what appears to be a translucent figure closely behind him.

And as the camera pans to follow the "ghost", you can see it moving in step behind the boy, who seems blissfully unaware that he's not alone.

The spooky clip was uploaded to YouTube this week, where it was seen by over 4,000 paranormal buffs, who were quick to chip in with what they made of the frightening footage.

One suggested that the figure following behind the boy could have been his guardian angel, although others weren't so certain that the clip is legit.

The video was shared by a channel specialising in spooky sightings, who claim that this proves for certain that ghosts are real.

Last week, a video emerged which seems to back their ghostly beliefs up, showing a man get into a taxi with a ghost following closely behind.
