Terrified blindfolded stag thinks he’s about to do a bungee jump… but all is not what it seems
Pals strap bungee ropes to groom-to-be, who's hilariously unaware he's just centimetres above the ground
WE'RE used to hearing tales of the brutal pranks played on grooms-to-be at stag parties.
However, this bunch of revellers came up with a much more novel way of humiliating their buddy than tying him naked to a lamppost in the middle of nowhere.
Instead, they blindfolded the poor lad, stripped him to his pants, and managed to convince him he was about to launch himself off a terrifyingly high bungee platform.
The boys went to town on their deception, wrapping bungee-style ropes around him and perching him at the front of the 'platform' - which was, in fact, merely the kerb of a pavement some 20 mere centimetres above ground level.
Although the bash took place in northern Spain, the stag's mates travelled over the border into France - to make their stunt more believable and to ramp up the fear in their victim.
Once they reach their destination, the cape-clad lad - whose sight was concealed by bandages - is visibly nervous as he awaits his blind plummet.
Grabbing onto metal rails - which he thinks are high up in the air - the stag can be heard asking: "But I have to jump or fall?" before declaring his love for his wife-to-be and best friend, much to his trickster pals' amusement.
One comforting friend retorts: "Don't be silly, this is a professional thing. There is insurance."
After strapping a harness to him, he dangles his foot over the edge and exclaims: "F***, this is really real. I'm really here."
A countdown begins, with the helpless stag realising he has no choice in the matter - while a couple of friends prepare themselves to break their pal's fall when he jumps.
Bravely leaping into oblivion, he ends up on the pavement below and immediately realises he's been duped in spectacular fashion.
To choruses of hysterics all around him, the stunned stag is heard spitting: "You sons of b****es."
They really roped him in to that one...
