When Jason Coakley saw a Post-it note attached to his shirt he took the instructions written on it by his mum far too literally

A MUM left a Post-it note with some simple instructions for a chore she wanted her son to do but the outcome wasn't what she expected as he took them way too literally.

Jason Coakley, 15,  woke up to find a white shirt folded on a table with a note from his mum saying: “Can you hang this out please. Ta, Mum.”

So, the student whose studying geology and petroleum at Aberdeen University, dutifully did exactly what his mum had asked him to and sent her a photo of his efforts.

But when his mum opened up the snap she didn't see the shirt on the line, instead she saw the note neatly pinned to the washing line.

But when Jason Coakley came down to find it, he decided to wind his mum up by hanging the note on the line and not the shirt and sent her a photo
