AS every parent knows, looking after the kids has its ups and downs.

But mum Ilana Wiles has turned the quirkier moments of motherhood into a hilarious Instagram page.

The brutally honest snaps show the times when it all goes wrong - with the tantrums, tears and messier moments of parenting.

They include the tot who smeared foundation all over his cot, the sulks on family holidays and that familiar moment when the beloved pet fish dies and you frantically search for a replacement.

Ilana  told the Huffington Post: "I hope other parents will relate to the photos, feel like they are in good company and see the amusement in our daily struggles.

"I am always aiming to make the struggles of raising children entertaining. Parents need it!"
