Cruiser furious to find staff working on a lifeboat outside his cabin after he paid £450 extra for a SEA VIEW
Nate Zemanek shelled out more for a cabin with a window on his 'dream honeymoon' on the Holland America ship across Europe
A CRUISE passenger was left furious after shelling out an extra £450 for a room with a window for his dream honeymoon, only to find workmen were repairing a lifeboat right outside it the ENTIRE holiday.
Nate Zemanek posted a video to on Sunday showing a man kitted out in protective gear working right outside his cabin on the Holland America liner.
He captioned the footage: "This is our view for our wonderful European cruise. The crew said they will be working during the day the entire time.
"Thanks for telling us when you up charged us $600 extra for the window guys."
In the background of the clip the noise from the workman's electric tool can clearly be heard and at one point he even peers into the room.
In a Reddit post Nate, under the username , explained he and his wife knew the view would be impaired - but he wasn't chuffed about having construction workers snooping through the glass into their room while they enjoyed their romantic cruise around Europe.
He told how he complained at the front desk but was told the maintenance staff would be working on the lifeboats from 9am to 5pm for the duration of their stay on the boat.
According to Nate he is still aboard the MS Zuiderdam.
