Feuds, new loves and sex scandals: This is what last year’s Love Islanders have been up to since the show
As the Love Island villa closes its doors we take a look at how last year’s couples have fared after the show
THE post-island break-ups, nip-slips and hook-ups are well underway and Love Island 2016 only wrapped a week ago.
But what happened to last year’s beautifully toned couples after they left ITV’s villa of romance?
Jessica Hayes and Max Morely
Despite winning the Love Island 2015 crown and leaving the show hand-in-hand, Jessica and Max called time on their relationship just six weeks after the show ended following a series of very public rows.
There’s no love lost between the pair with Max recently revealing that he regrets his decision to share the £50K prize money and Jess responding to a tweet asking if they were still together with “Am I Fk”.
Max went on to date Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby but ended their fling after she was caught on Snapchat kissing ex-boyfriend Gary Beadle on a boozy night out.
He bounced back quickly and started dating the then Miss Great Britain, this season’s Zara Holland.
This romance was also not to be as they broke-up shortly after with Max branding Zara “boring in reality and boring in bed.”
Jessica’s love life has been less eventful since the split with no reported relationships since Max.
She recently hit the headlines again after a series of boob flashing incidents, including one at Cheltenham when she was out with gal-pal Katie Salmon (one of this year’s Love Island finalists).
Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clark
The most consistent couple, Hannah and Jonathan teamed-up on the first day and left the villa engaged at the end of the series.
But the ill-fated relationship ended around three months later following a drunken holiday row about Hannah’s glamour modelling career which saw Jon catch an early flight home.
Jon has gone on to join the cast of TOWIE where he wined and dined glamourous Chloe Sims on a series of dates, although romance failed to blossom between the two.
Hannah has recently moved on, confirming her relationship with ex-stockbroker George Andreetti with a number of cosy snaps on Instagram.
Lauren Richardson and Joshua Ritchie
Unlucky in love duo Lauren and Joshua agreed to couple-up as friends following a tumultuous summer of relationship fails in the villa.
Lauren’s entrance gained a lot of attention having previously been accused of an affair with Zayn Malik after a picture of the two cosying up together in Thailand.
Since leaving Lauren has posted a number of romantic Instagram pictures with a mystery bearded gent who appears to be putting a smile on her face.
Joshua has been embroiled in scandal since leaving the villa after an x-rated bedroom video of pregnant ex-Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis playing with his manhood was leaked online.
The clip was not well received by Steph’s ex Jeremey McConnell who took to twitter to threaten to “bang him out”.
Joshua was said to be mortified following the leak, claiming that it was just a “one night thing”.
Zoe Basia Brown and Jordan Ring
The world had high hopes for Jordan ‘Hulk’ Ring and his leggy bombshell Zoe Brown but unfortunately they only managed five weeks on the outside before calling time of their romance.
Inked beef-cake Jordan has moved on with Dannika Daisy, a tattooed model and lad’s mag favourite from Essex.
Dannika previously featured in season four of ITV’s popular dating show Take Me Out, where she stood alongside this year’s Love Island beauty Malin Andersson.
Zoe Brown has kept a low profile since the show, she has been pictured on a number of girl’s nights out but as yet has not gone public with any new relationship.
Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison
The only couple to have stood the test of time, Cally and Luis knew each other before the show started and are still going strong.
Footballer Luis spoke out earlier this year about the pre-match sex bans that he has slapped on Cally to stay at the top of his game.
The good-looking pair are frequently spotted hitting the town for glamorous date nights.
