She shot to fame as the fashion-obsessed daddy’s girl who played matchmaker to her pals and hatched a scheme to make a new pupil at her school super-popular.

Now the blonde actress – who was 18 when she took the role – is about to turn 40.

Looking at her now, you wouldn’t know 21 years had passed since her Cher days.

Pictured this week at the premiere of King Cobra, she looked amazing.

But her life has taken some unexpected twists and turns since she became a teen star.

Although she is still acting she also devotes herself to promoting a vegan lifestyle and is about to publish a second cookbook, The Kind Diet Cookbook.

But it is her parenting ideas that have caused the biggest stir in recent years.

Alicia – who married musician Chris Jarecki in 2005 – has a five-year-old boy called Bear Blu and wrote a parenting book called The Kind Mama.

In 2012, she hit the headlines when she uploaded a video of herself feeding her baby son PRE-CHEWED food.

A year later she threw her weight behind Kind Mama Milk Share – a forum which allowed mums to supply BREAST milk to other mums who couldn’t breastfeed naturally.

She wrote: “Because we are a community of beautiful souls who recognize the importance of food as health, I say we help support those mamas and babies who need a hand during one of the most important times in their lives.

“If you have milk to share – post it! If you are in need of milk – post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!”
