Best man is fooled into thinking he’s won £50,000 on a scratchcard by cruel groom
The hilarious prank was filmed by a guest and has now been featured on ITV's Wedding Surprises: Caught On Camera
AT A wedding it is usually the best man's duty to play a heap of embarrassing tricks on the groom.
But during one couple's big day, the husband-to-be decided to reverse the roles and pranked his pal into thinking he'd won £50,000 on a scratchcard.
The hilarious joke was filmed by a guest and has now been featured on ITV's Wedding Surprises: Caught On Camera.
Wesley, the unsuspecting best man, is seen in the laugh-out-loud clip clutching the 'lucky' ticket while running around screaming: "£50,000! £50,000! Woo! Have you got this on camera? Woo!"
Reminiscing the moment, he told the programme: "I can't even compute what was going through my head at that stage. It was all a blur.
"I just had to show people my scratchcard to prove that I had won £50,000."
Surprised guests are seen gathering around Wesley, who is smartly dressed in a silver waistcoat and blue shirt, to check his win.
He is filmed dancing and around with glee while yelling at his girlfriend: "This is the best day of my life! Chloe, drinks are on us."

Then the groom comes over and tells Wesley to check the terms and conditions on the back of the card.
The penny - or, quite literally, the £50,000 drops - and he suddenly realises the whole thing has been a wind up.
"Oh, he's a p****!" he yells, while marching off in a strop.
His mates, all of which were in on the joke, crowd around him and start cheering.
Wesley, realising he's the butt of the joke, can no longer stifle his smile and ends up laughing along with them.
