Paultons Park, which was also named the UK's best theme park by the firm, was ranked as the world's 22nd best, and was the only British attraction to seal a place in the top 25.

And the attraction, which is perfect for small children, makes for a fantastic UK day trip, according to the travel firm.
Meanwhile, the nation's second best theme park was named as Blackpool Pleasure Beach, home to the Big One rollercoaster and a mecca for south-coast thrillseekers.
And Alton Towers was ranked in third place, boasting a wide selection of thrilling rides at a park which caters to guests of all ages.

But, although these parks are well regarded by the travel firm, these UK attractions simply don't compare to the sprawling parks which take up the world's top spots.

The huge attraction, in Orlando, Florida, was followed in the world rankings by nearby Discovery Cove and Magic Kingdom, both also located in Orlando.
