British woman gutted to miss dream Beyoncé gig… after buying ticket for the WRONG day

Twitter users were on hand to show their support for the devastated mum-of-one

A BEYONCÉ superfan was buzzing to see her favourite artist at Wembley Arena… but she made a startling discovery on the train.

On Sunday evening 34-year-old Tammy made her way to the sold-out Formation Tour, she glanced down at her tickets and realised that she muddled her dates up.

Heartbreakingly, the mum-of-one realised that she’d actually got tickets for the Saturday tour date.

In an interview with Buzzfeed News, Tammy explained that she only realised her mistake after checking her Ticketmaster app.

She remembered: “It said only past events and I saw it said Saturday and realized the show was over and we couldn’t go anymore.

“I kept on thinking that it might be a mistake and maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing.”

Taking to Twitter in dismay, Tammy revealed: “On the train to Wembley. Just realised the 3 @Beyonce tickets I bought for tonight were actually for last night. #devastated.”

It didn’t take long for the British public to rally behind Tammy, with many Twitter users sending messages to Ticketmaster to help her out.

When a Twitter user suggested: “Start a go fund me to get your money back” Tammy replied that cash was the last thing on her mind.

She responded: “I don’t want my money back. I just want to see Queen Bey.”

Some gave Tammy the questionable advice of buying from touts, but luckily the mum didn’t lose any more money.

Staggeringly, tickets for the popular tour are being flogged on ticket touting sites at starting prices of £120.

Despite her heart-ache, Tammy admits that it was her fault for the mix-up.

Commenting on the stressful ordeal, she admitted that she’d felt some comfort in the social media response.

She explained: “I think a lot of Beyoncé fans on Twitter could relate to me feeling devastated.

“There were the odd people laughing at me, but a lot of people were genuinely devastated for me as well, so that was nice, in a way.”

Luckily Tammy’s day was completely ruined, as her loving hubby came up with an alternate night out.

On Twitter, Tammy revealed: “Update on the situation… My husband sang single ladies to me and we went off to the London Dungeons.”
