This man just got his son’s cancer scar TATTOOED on his own head to make his beloved boy feel better
Doting Josh Marshall was even voted Best Bald Dad
A LOVING dad has shown just how much he cares about his family, by getting a tattoo of his son’s cancer scar on his head.
After young Gabriel Marshall was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015, he was left with an c-shaped scar on his head from the surgery.
In full support of Gabriel, Josh J-Mash Marshall replicated the swirling mark on the side of his own head.
After entering a competition for Best Bald Dad last week, caring dad Josh shared a snap of the pair’s matching scars.
He captioned the image: “Me and my son at this year’s St. Baldrick’s event in Wichita, Kansas.
“Got my son’s scar tattooed to help his self-confidence.”
After scooping the Father’s Day title of Best Bald Dad, Josh took to Facebook to thank the 5,000 people that voted for him.
He said: “I would like to thank everyone for helping make this happen it's an honor to be titled 2016's #BestBaldDad but the truth is I'm no better than any of the other contestants.
“We are all great father's that would go to any extent to help our children so in my eyes we're all winners!
“Hope you all have a great week and a happy father's day to all you men making a difference in your children's lives!”
When Josh’s picture was picked up on Instagram, it’s been liked 13,000 times and racked up dozens of comments of support.
One commenter remarked: “I think that is such a deep reflection of the love he carries within his heart for his son… there will be nothing he can’t conquer as he knows they are not alone.”
Another added: “You’re a really good dad, keep up your good work.”
