FANCY playing a game of peek-a-boob? A new body art craze sees women adorn their sideboobs with dainty tattoos.
The provocative trend has gained momentum on social media with many fashionistas sharing photographs of their delicate designs.
The seductive inkings – which include everything from tiny peace symbols to giant eagles – are discreet, sexy and a privileged-eyes-only tat.
Doodled on the intimate bit of skin that is higher up than the ribcage but not quite on the breast, this trend is for the daring only – you need to go braless to show it off.
Popular designs include hearts, crescents, pineapples and seashells, as well as more elaborate floral and animal motifs.
The female-friendly tattoo is taking off because it’s something that is “only applicable” to women, according to the website, Amazing Tattoo Ideas.
“The art itself compliments the goods and vice versa,” the forum states. “Most of the tattooed designs on these parts of a woman’s body are geometric patterns, birds and vines.”
Following on from the popularity of the sideboob etchings, one Reddit user inquired about the pain levels of a getting a tattoo.
“I am a weakling. I don't want to pass out or vomit or black out or anything and annoy my tattoo artist and get a worse job,” they wrote.
“But I don't know where else to get it! I am getting a treble clef, but instead of a line going down the center it is the phrase ‘everything is brilliant’.

Another Reddit user responded: “I have a similar sized piece in the same location.
“Didn't hurt that bad since it isn't directly over muscle or bone (in my case, anyway) and the "area" could be held relatively still while I trembled/moved/squirmed.
“In my opinion, really not a bad place to get your first.”
Responding to a similar question on Yahoo, one user said the pain is “a slight shock” but “you will get used to it”.
Someone else compared getting the inking to getting a “few thousands” injections “from the doctor”.
