Meet the size 8 fitness model who is taking Instagram by storm with her ripped figure… despite scoffing on CAKES and DONUTS every day
Now Laura Baker is sharing her protein-packed sweet treat recipes with the world
MOST people think you need to munch on carrot sticks and lettuce leaves to achieve a size 8 body, but Laura Baker is living proof this is NOT the case.
Incredibly, the 28-year-old fitness model, nutrition coach and personal trainer from Bath manages to stay slim despite eating donuts, cakes and other sweet treats every day.
Laura is now sharing her diet secrets with her 10,000 Instagram followers on her account.
Instead of promoting a diet packed with fruit and veg, Laura shares recipes for delicious homemade sweet treats which are packed full of protein.
Laura’s diet promotes muscle gain for woman, and her ‘crispy creme’ donuts are nutritious as well as delicious, with 6g of protein and just 65 calories.
The brunette beauty said: “Food is there to be enjoyed. I don’t believe in faddy diets or 'quick fixes' as they’re just not sustainable.
“In order to maintain adherence and consistency your diet should fit in with you and your lifestyle – not the other way around.”
Laura ditched her day job as an office manager in 2013 to concentrate on her fitness full time.
She said: “I was working as a personal trainer on the side and loved exercise, but it was only when I set up my blog for fun that it really took off.
“Before I became really serious about my diet I was a size 12 and weighed 11st 2lb.
“I’m 5ft 7 and although I was in good shape, I thought I had to eating boring foods like white fish and broccoli.
“But then I started to educate myself and learnt I could make all the yummy foods like protein cakes and cookies and still retain a great body.
“I’m living proof that you literally can have your cake and eat it.”
Laura said she doesn’t have any ‘off limits foods’ but she does monitor her overall calorie intake, looking at the amount of protein, carbohydrates, fats and fibre she intakes daily.

On top of this, she also tries to ensure 80 per cent of her diet comes from single ingredient foods – such as fruit, vegetables, meat and nuts.
A further 10 per cent of Laura's diet is made up from pasta, bread and nut butters – and the final 10 per cent whatever naughty foods she is craving.
She added: “My favourite foods are Nutella and pizza.
“I have a HUGE sweet tooth which is why I created the blog - to show that with a bit of creativity you can make your favourite foods fit your diet.
“I also wanted to give people recipes with easy to source ingredients – everything can be found in the local supermarket, no special health food shops necessary.
“Creating these recipes which are high in protein and fibre mean I can eat cake every day - which I do, usually with a good coffee - and still meet my goals.”
