Something sinister seems to be afoot in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, where one user with a hellish secret.
At first, everything on the sunny street seems normal, but when you go in to Street View and move a few metres down the road, things take a spooky turn.
The light, colourful surroundings suddenly morph into a pitch black hellscape, as everything is inexplicably plunged into total darkness.
To make matters more sinister, there is something lurking in the darkness, and it seems to chase you no matter where you move.
A ghostly green human figure follows you down the hellish street - and no matter where you run, it'll always be just one step behind you.
Eventually, after moving through the hellish patch, you emerge back in familiar surroundings, and the sunny Brazillian street returns to normal.
But take a step back and you're plunged into darkness again, with the ghostly figure makes a reappearance.
People have claimed that the spectral figure is some kind of demonic spirit, or even the devil himself.
Of course, a more likely explanation is that the street view cameras suffered from a malfunction of some sort, or a glitch emerged when Google employees were piecing together the area for the popular mapping software.
One creeped-out commenter said: "That is so weird, if you start at one end of the street it's all in daytime but then continue on it changes to the super dark creepy shot. That's so odd."
Another replied with a fiendish explanation: "The Google Van briefly passed through a hell dimension."
And whilst not everyone believed there was a supernatural explanation, there could be an equally sinister reason why the street suddenly turns to darkness.
One user said: "Someone has purposely corrupted the photos of that one street, the side streets are clear, but there's something there someone wants hidden."
