Jeremy Kyle has a meltdown on the show after a woman, who has been accused of stealing a pressure washer, snubs him
AUDIENCE members were left in fits of laughter after Jeremy Kyle was told he was "too old" to have sex with by a woman who had cheated on her husband 17 times.
The host of the show was left stunned when a guest, who had been accused of stealing a £90 pressure washer, said she wouldn't sleep with him because he was "a bit too old, darling".
The encounter started so well for Jeremy, who couldn't stifle his laughs as he introduced Simon - a man outraged that his pressure washer had gone missing.
Simon explained that he was convinced it was either his ex-wife, who had previously been on the show after cheating on him 17 times, or friend Merve the Swerve.
Before the lie detector results, he told Jeremy: "One of those has had my pressure washer. I saved up three months for that."
As Laura entered the stage she pleaded her innocence, assuring Simon and Jeremy that she hadn't stolen the pressure washer.
But no-one seemed convinced as when Laura last appeared on the show, a lie detector test revealed that she had in fact cheated on Simon, her husband at the time, a whopping 17 times.
And Jeremy was keen to remind the audience about her lies, calling her a "dirty woman" and joking: "Let's get this over with, I don't want to be number 18."
But the host of the ITV show was left stunned when Laura retorted: "No thank you, you're bit too old darling."
A shocked Jeremy replied: "Let me just ask this calmly. You've slept with 17 men and I'm too old? I'm giving up, I can't do this anymore. No it's fine, just destroy me."
He then threw down his cue cards.
Despite the audience bursting into fits of laughter, fans of the show took to Twitter to support Jeremy, with some admitting they found him attractive.
One viewer took to social media to tell him: "I'm free Jezza!!" with two kisses, while another encouraged him to show her that he wasn't too old.
Others simply reassured him: "Don't worry Jez, she's with the band," and another declared her love for the TV presenter: "I have a weird crush on Jeremy Kyle haha."
After Jeremy managed to regain his cool, he revealed the results of the lie detector test.
First up was Merv the Swerve, whose results said that he did not steal the pressure washer.
Next were Laura's and, in keeping with previous results, the lie detector said she was lying and she had stolen the pressure washer.
A furious Simon jumped up out of his seat and said: "You're a liar. I am going to the police with this. You are getting nicked!"
Fortunately for Simon, there was a happy ending as Jeremy said: "There are television shows that make dreams come true but I am going to buy you a pressure washer."
