These ridiculously glitched Netflix descriptions will leave you in stitches

These hilarious Netflix mix-ups have created some seriously odd shows

THESE are the hilarious Netflix mix-ups which saw the streaming giant describe Nazis as LGBT icons and Tinker Bell as a vengeful prostitute.

It's fair to say that there have been some serious slip-ups in the Netflix blurb-writing department, leading to pure hilarity when shows are accidentally assigned the wrong descriptions.

This surreal snap was uploaded to  on Friday with the caption "Can't tell if Netflix is glitching or being friggin' hilarious."

The picture shows the description for a historical documentary called Hitler and the Nazis, but it's clear that something is amiss in the show's blurb.

Rather than offering a description relating to the fascist regime, it reads: "Out and proud, they overcame prejudice to become some of the most influential voices in America's LGBT community."

And we're sure you don't even need to watch the documentary to deduce that Hitler and his fellow Nazis were never champions of gay rights in the States.

And that's not the only ridiculous Netflix slip-up which has left viewers in stitches, as this picture is proof of a similarly unlikely mismatch in the description department.

This snap shows a hilarious glitch in the description for the Tinker Bell film, which centres on the fairy from classic children's film Peter Pan.

The blurb for the animated film reads: "Her pimp cheated on her while she was locked up. Now this working girl sets out to claim her pound of flesh."

A picture of the mix-up was uploaded to Imgur yesterday, where delighted viewers joked that new Peter Pan films have taken a dark turn in recent years.

And that's not even the worst of it, after Netflix spiced up the description for kid's movie Turbo, which is supposedly a feel-good film about a fast snail.

But alongside a hilariously fitting picture of the eponymous snail, the glitched blurb reads: "Hotel sex, flying first class, eating yourself out of breath. His life isn't as glamorous as it sounds."

And another show lost its innocence after a glitched description for a Pokemon series took a dark turn.

The hilarious new description says: "His tortured time as a POW was a lifetime ago, but he can't forget. Confrontation or forgiveness - there's no easy fix."

Glitched children's TV on Netflix sounds horrifying, and this next mix-up offers an equally harrowing take on family-friendly animation.

The glitched description for Russian animated series Masha's Tales reads: "A hardened unit of soldiers in Vietnam closes in on an unseen enemy with a deadly aim. Can this battle be won?"

And another Nazi-based Netflix fail made Escape from a Nazi Death Camp sound less traumatic than intended.

The mix-up left the show's description reading: "Dating, career, finding a great taco - it's all hard. But becoming a mature adult is a whole other degree of difficulty."

Another Netflix slip-up saw the picture for Gilmore Girls replaced with a hilariously mismatched shot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

And the description was glitched too, describing the Gilmore-Turtles crossover as: "An intriguing look at scientists using prosthetics and other innovations to treat a range of injured animals and give them a new lease of life."
