The seventh in line to the throne opted for a £2,995 hand-embroidered Burberry coat, which was likened to a Star Wars Storm Trooper, Alice in Wonderland character the Queen of Spades and a Pearly Queen.

Eugenie, 26, fared slightly better by stepping out in a bright red midi dress, complete with cut out detailing around the bust and shoulders.
