Lotto winner spends £2million on sports tickets across the world
Money-bags Matt Evans has spent more than £1million in one year on things like houses and car
A LOTTERY winner is blowing his fortune having the ultimate man experience – flying around the world to watch the best sports on the planet.
Lucky postie Matt Evans, 35, has splashed out tens of thousands of pounds on ringside seats at top sporting occasions.
In the last year bachelor Matt has watched major football, cricket, rugby, baseball, American football and ice hockey.
And he's booked up for the Olympics in Brazil, The Monaco Grand Prix and Wimbledon.
Money-bags Matt, who has spent more than £1million in one year on things including houses and cars, said: "I know I'm very lucky - I'm living the dream of so many blokes.
"I always said if I won the lottery I'd spend it on following my favourite teams."
Matt scooped £2,604,015 exactly a year ago and ever since he's been living out of a suitcase watching sport.
He regularly flies to the US to watch his favourite American Football team the Washington Redskins.
But he also supports baseball team the Baltimore Orioles and also loves to watch the Washington Capitals at ice hockey.
Bachelor Matt said: "I love American sport so instead of watching it on TV I fly over to see it live.
"But I still love my football and I'm devoted to Cardiff City and Wales." Matt splashed out £8,000 on flights and tickets for all three of Wales's Euro 2016 matches in France including the crunch match against England on June 16.
He flew his dad Chris, 62, and his mates to the Wales qualifier in Cyprus but always turns down hospitality boxes because he would rather be with the real fans.
Just a year ago Matt was a £300-a-week postman braving all weathers on his round in Barry, South Wales.
He now has a £600,000 bachelor pad complete with a five-a side pitch in his back garden and a full sized goal.
And when it starts to rain he heads inside to watch sport on his 88-inch TV in his games room which also has a snooker table and darts board.
Matt said: "I was a postman all my life getting up at 5am and walking eight miles a day in all weathers.
"I was bitten by dogs and I've got the scars to prove it - including one on my bum.
"Winning the lottery has changed my life but I am still in touch with the lads at the sorting office." Matt took a year off work after scooping the jackpot on a lucky dip ticket last June.
But he went back for a week in January to help out when the Royal Mail was short staffed.
He said: "They gave me a year career break while I decided my future.
"I'm happy to help put but I'm having too much fun to go back full time." Matt's biggest problem in life is a clash of two major sporting occasions.
He's already had to put his visit to Wimbledon with mum Helen, 61, off for a year because it coincides with the Euros.
And his trip to the Monaco Grand Prix with his dad will also have to wait until next year.
Matt has no girlfriend at the moment and says women have kept away since his win because they don't want to be seen as gold-diggers.
He has traded his 16-year-old Lexus in for a brand new BMW M6 and he bought his dad a Range Rover.
His next big spend is a sit-on mower for his back garden football pitch and a white line marker for the penalty area.
Matt said: "I know I'm very lucky to follow my dreams and I joke that my life is like living in a Carlsberg TV advert.
"But I'm still one of the lads who just loves sport." A Camelot spokeswoman said: "Winning the lottery has changed Matt's life but it hasn't changed him.
"He's a down-to-earth guy who is lucky to pursue his love of sport wherever it takes him."
