‘I want to look like a sexy hybrid of Beyonce, Jessica Rabbit and MISS PIGGY’: Woman pays £14k for surgery to look like a cartoon after her mum died
Laura Boaten believes her mum would be proud of her new look
A SELF-CONFESSED surgery addict splashed out £14,000 on cosmetic procedures… and now she’s on a quest to transform herself into a human cartoon character.
After inheriting £30,000, mum-of-two Laura Boaten has had multiple surgeries — including Botox, lip fillers, cosmetic tattooing and dental work— to look like a drawing she found on the internet.
Splashing out over £14,000 on the operations, the mum still wants more work done and is planning another boob job, a tummy tuck and further lip injections.
Laura, 28, explained: “I love female cartoon characters, they are perfection of the female form.
“I wanted to look like a sexy hybrid of Miss Piggy, Jessica Rabbit and Beyonce and when I found an image of this blonde cartoon on a Google image search, I fell in love.”
Laura’s obsession started when her beloved mum Stephanie, a care home worker, died at 52.
She remembered: “Losing my mum really changed me. It made me realise I should do what makes me happy, and for me that’s plastic surgery.
“Cosmetic surgery immediately became an addiction. It’s amazing knowing that when I wake up from surgery, I will look closer to my human cartoon fantasy.
“I know my mum would be pleased to see me now.”
Growing up, make-up artist Laura, from Caterham, Surrey, was always interested in her appearance, but that changed when she gave birth to her first daughter with long-term boyfriend at 21.
She says: “After I had my first child, I stopped thinking about myself or my appearance…
“Being a parent took priority… and I just focused on being a mum really.”
Just four months after giving birth, Laura’s world was shattered when she lost her mum.
Laura says: “I was devastated when she died. Losing her was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through.
“I know my mum always wanted me to have somewhere nice to live so I used some of the inheritance money for a deposit on a property.”
