Bride-to-be hits back at fat-shaming trolls after posting engagement pictures online
This couple's celebration snaps caused a backlash but they answered back in the best way
A BRIDE-TO-BE who was fat-shamed over her engagement pics has hit back in the most defiant way.
Mzznaki Tetteh, a nurse from Ghana, recently got engaged to construction worker Kojo Amoah.
The pair posed for some happy shots to celebrate and shared the snaps on their Instagram.
But her jubilant pics let to a flood of cruel taunts from online trolls, who mocked her for her weight.
One particular picture, with Kojo lifting up his future wife and captioned ‘Yaaaaayyyyee’ by Mzznaki, got the most abuse from the vile haters.
It trended on Twitter with body-shaming comments from trolls.
He said: “I normally post pictures of me and my girlfriend all the time and I wasn’t expecting this at all. I just posted it, we did a photo shoot and I thought it was nice so I posted it.
“To me, I have always been a fan of plus-size women, and I am so proud of my woman and I don’t care about what anybody says out there.’
Another cute picture of the couple had Mzznaki describing Kojo as “My shield.”
And one with his arm round his bride-to-be is captioned: “He's always got my back...thanks bby.”
The response had gained the nurse 10,000 new followers on Instagram plenty of admirers, who are showering the couple with congratulations.
One wrote: “All I see is Pure Beauty!! Keep doing you Queen .Miserable people love company..Congrats to you both!!”
Another wrote: “BEAUTIFUL COUPLE! You're going to be a beautiful bride and wife! Have a truly blessed life.”
