Woman, 23, has been hooked on Hentai erotica since she was 14 and feels she can’t get a boyfriend as ‘human sex repulses her’
Cody Niesyto, from Bucks, says the cartoons have always helped her escape from the real world
A BRITISH woman has told how she is so obsessed with Japanese cartoon porn she feels she can’t have a normal relationship and is “repulsed” by human sex.
Cody Niesyto, from Aylesbury, Bucks, has been immersed in the ‘virtual world’ of Anime since she was 13.
As her obsession with the culture grew, she soon discovered erotic versions of her favourite cartoons.
Now the 23-year-old admits she is completely addicted to the erotic animations, watching them for at least two hours a day, and worries she will never be able to enjoy a real-life relationship.
She explains: “These cartoons have always helped me escape from the real world. The only problem is that I ended up living my life in a virtual world.
“When I started watching the erotic Hentai, it felt better than anything in real life.
“It’s really difficult to go back to reality where I worry no one will accept or understand me.
“I’ve always been too ashamed and embarrassed to tell anybody for fear they’d think I was a freak and dump me.
“Now I can’t get a boyfriend or have normal sex, as nothing compares to the virtual world for me.
“I wonder if I have been watching these types of cartoon for so long it has warped me sexually.
“Let’s be honest, it isn’t normal to get horny looking at cartoons, I am fully aware of that.
“I still watch at least two hours of animated porn a day. I am addicted to watching it.
“I really want to have a normal physical relationship, but I am worried I’ll never be able to.”
Known as Anime, popular Japanese cartoons have become a worshipped ‘subculture’, with increasing numbers of adults becoming obsessed with the characters they watch on screen.
The Sun has uncovered figures that show searches for cartoon pornography are up 104 per cent on last year.
The statistics reveal the UK is home to thousands of fans of X–rated animations – and the most popular of the genre – Japanese Hentai – is bucking a trend for this strange new erotic craze.
Hentai cartoons, or erotic Manga, depict sexual scenes and pornographic stories.
The Sun’s investigation also obtained official numbers from online pornography website Porn Hub that show searches for Hentai animated pornography are up 14 per cent on the last year.
Cody is not alone, as there is a growing epidemic of adult fans so addicted to the Anime culture they struggle to live life in the ‘real world’ – instead obsessing about the cartoons they love so much.
While most Anime animated stories involve comic book style superheroes, new erotic Anime cartoons are gaining an increasing fanbase online.
It’s these characters that Cody now fantasises about, having been introduced to the anime world when she started watching Pokemon as a young teen.
She became addicted to the show, watching episodes back to back for up to seven hours at a time.
Cody says: “I loved everything to do with the show.
“I had all the merchandise, wallpaper, bed covers, all of the toys available. I would spend every penny of my pocket money on it.”
It wasn’t long before Cody started exploring other Japanese cartoons.
She says: “From there I started looking for other programs to watch. I eventually found Manga cartoons online.
“These are not for children, they are very violent and are not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
“But the videos were easily accessible on the internet and I would watch them in my bedroom alone all night.
“I didn’t tell anyone about the shows I watched.”

A year later, Cody discovered more adult content online.
She recalls: “I was searching for normal anime and manga and found pornographic versions of characters pop up in different searches.
“I clicked on some of the images out of curiosity and found loads of websites hosting galleries of anime porn.
“I was around 14–15 when I saw my first video. It was a Hentai Anime called La Blue Girl Returns.
“It didn’t take long to turn me on, but I felt ashamed about it. I really loved it and wanted more.”
From that point, Cody was hooked.
Hentai magazines were originally designed to fulfil the sexual fantasies of men.
But after growing in popularity they have recruited thousands of female fans.
Hentai has become popular for being a ‘no limits’ style of pornography.
Women have ‘perfect’ bodies and men have oversized penises.
And it’s this element of the graphic cartoons that makes Cody feel estranged from real human contact.
She explains: “Like anyone going through puberty I was sexually curious and I needed up getting most of my sex education from the cartoons I watched.
The only sex I was interested in involved cartoons
“I fancied the Japanese men in the cartoons.
“The Hentai films were limitless and so different from real life. Some have graphic sexual scenes involving multiple partners.
“I once tried watching normal pornography but that seemed unreal to me.
“I started to withdraw from the real world and my life revolved around these videos.”
Cody attempted to have relationships with men but always struggled to enjoy being intimate with them.
She says: “I did meet boys and have had a few relationships, but once we got into the bedroom I found human sex repulsed me, it left me cold.
“The only sex I was interested in involved cartoons.”
So Cody gave up and instead made her room into her own private shrine to her beloved Japanese cartoon porn.
She owns over 20 dakimakura body pillow covers, which feature Japanese anime men in various sexual positions, and various other memorabilia.
Cody has been online and met other women who share a similar addiction.
She says: “Perhaps I need to meet a man who is also obsessed with the videos I like and we can consume ourselves in the make believe world.”
Cody has not sought any help for her addiction but says she might try counselling to “beat” her addiction and “come back into the real world”.
Although she loves the Anime world, Cody admits people need to be aware of the dangers of this cartoon subculture.
She says: “Parents need to know that there is a dark side to the cartoon industry where the most warped and twisted ideas can be shown to the viewer.
“I am sure it is more damaging than watching normal pornography as it is limitless.
“I really hope one day I can come back into the real world and have normal relationships.”
The dark side of Anime and Japanese Manga
While most Hentai films are harmless, the ‘anything is possible’ style has led some creators down a dark path.
In October 2014, an Anime superfan became the first Brit to be convicted of possessing illegal pictures of cartoon children.
Robul Hoque, 39, from South Bank, Middlesbrough, made legal history when police found a horde of explicit Anime pictures on his computer.
Hoque admitted 10 counts of possessing prohibited images of children at Teesside Crown Court and was given a community order and completed a sex offender treatment programme.
Barrister Richard Bennett said: “These are not what would be termed as paedophilic images. These are cartoons.
“This case should serve as a warning to every Manga and Anime fan to be careful.
“It seems there are many thousands of people in this country, if they are less then careful, who may find themselves in that position too.”
Japanese Manga comics – violent and often sexual anime cartoons – were linked to the murder of Coventry teacher –Lindsay Hawker who was found in a bath of sand in March 2007.
Police believe the murder by Tatsuya Ichihachi was copied from a cartoon after a hand drawn anime style drawing of the victim was found at the scene of the crime.
Hentai pornography originated in Japan, the country that brought us Hello Kitty, Pikachu and Super Mario.
From Transformers and Power Rangers, to Tamagotchi and Pokémon, an endless list of childhood crazes have come from the Asian country.
For an increasing number of fans, including Cody, these cartoon fantasy worlds aren’t just for kids.
