how long?!

This is how much sex you’ll have for the rest of your life… and how much time you’ll spend looking at your phone

The average life spans 25,915 days... but will we use them wisely?

Ever wondered how much sex you’ll have over the rest of your life?

Luckily for you, the maths has already been done – so you can concentrate on, erm, other things.

According to boffins at Reebok, the average lifespan is 25,915 days – and we spend 117 of these underneath the sheets.

The company’s study – which looked at 9,000 people from the UK, Canada, Germany, United States, France, Mexico, Spain, Russia and Korea – also found that 41 per cent of our time is spent engaging with technology.

That’s 10,625 of your days spent scrolling through the Internet, checking your phone or watching endless Netflix programmes.

By comparison, the average person will spend just 180 days of his or her life exercising.

Although we will also climb Mount Everest nearly 45 times, and run the Earth’s circumference twice.

Meanwhile, the average person will spend 7,709 days – nearly 30 per cent of his or her life – sitting down, and will break a New Year’s resolution in less than three months.

The study also revealed that Brits are the biggest daydreamers of all the nations polled, with our minds wandering a whopping 49 times a month.

And socialising takes up around six per cent of our lives - or 1,765 days.

Reebok calculated the figures as part of a campaign to get people to make the most of their 71 years.

The company’s vice president of brand management Yan Martin said: “The spirit of 25,915 isn't one of fear, but of hope and opportunity.

“This study will hopefully help to push and inspire people to do more.

“Run one extra lap, climb a few extra stairs – it could mean one more lap of the earth by the time your 25,915 days are up.”

The study was done in partnership with Consensus.
