David Gandy poses topless to launch new M&S summer line – and the photos will brighten every woman’s day
The chiselled hunk has hit the beach to showcase his stylish new attire
HE'S one of the world’s highest-earning male models and if you needed any proof why David Gandy is paid the big bucks, just cast your eyes over his latest fashion campaign.
Following on from the success of his swimwear collection, the Essex-born heartthrob has teamed up with Marks & Spencer’s Autograph line to release a beachwear range.
And who better to showcase the stylish gear than the chiselled hunk himself?
In the promo shots, a topless David is seen posing on the sand, flaunting his ripped abs and honed arms.
He smoulders confidently in another image, which sees him don a pair of sunglasses and grey checked shorts.
In an attempt to improve the sartorial style of Brits abroad, Mollie King’s on-off boyfriend has developed a capsule collection of 10 key holiday pieces in a range of co-ordinating colours.
Banish thoughts of granddad sandals, the line includes a cotton linen t-shirt and vest, a towelling polo shirt, cotton shorts and trousers, a beach towel and bag, flip flops, canvas shoes and espadrilles.
Speaking about the new venture, David said: “I wanted to design a range of items that were predominantly stylish but also practical and could be packed and worn from the beach to the bar, from the morning until the evening.”
Each item comes in a range of colours with 23 options in total.
David opted for a “very classical” colour palette of white, navy and burgundy.
He added: “The items can be worn individually or together in different combinations, creating a variety of looks that satisfy the demands of holiday.
“Luxurious and innovative fabrics such as the towelling polo shirt, cotton linen t-shirt and pure cotton trousers make the styles versatile and comfortable for wearing all day.”
The range, which is priced from £15 for a vest to £29.50 for a pair of trousers, is available online now and lands in stores on Thursday.
The new collection sits alongside the expanded David Gandy for Autograph Swimwear shop, which now boasts 16 styles, including a new shorter length option, and all with Quick Dry technology.
While your man may not have David’s muscles, he’ll definitely look more suave on the sand in this attire.
