BLOKES are getting their belly fat moulded into fake six-packs as part of a bizarre new 'abdominal etching' trend.
Pangpaparn Ounvilai, from Thailand, had flab taken specific parts of his stomach to create abdominal lines - and tourists are queuing up to have the procedure themselves.
He went under the knife at the Masterpiece Cosmetic Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, after shelling out £3,000 to get an instant beach body.
He said: "I have been working out for many years but I want to my abs line to be more defined, so I did the surgery.
"It will make my body always look good even though I will gain a little fat. I am happy this way."
Grisly pictures show his body before, during and after the surgery.
One stomach-churning shot shows his abdomen covered with bandages from where the fat was removed.
The six-pack op has been increasing in popularity over the last four years in Thailand.
The procedure was carried out by plastic surgeon Atittayapa Photiya, and involves no plastic or silicone.
We previously told about the rise in the number of people getting the new 'etching' procedure - but it doesn't work on everyone.
Ideal patients would exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet, but struggle with 'resistant tummy fat' that hides muscles that are underneath.
Naturally, as is with the nature of all surgeries, it also comes with a high risk of infection as well as damage to nerves, and of course, it might not last forever if patients regain the lost fat.
