A 40-STONE takeaway lover has ditched a third of his bodyweight after his exasperated personal trainer got him BANNED from local favourite chippies.
Darren McClintock, 27, was barred from chip shops around Middlesborough, after teaming up with fitness expert Mike Hind.
The leaflets read: "Save Dibsy, Obesity Is Killing Him. Do Not Serve This Man".
At his heaviest, he had to book two seats on a plane to go abroad and was too fat to drive.
He also had to order clothes that are specially sized - at an extra cost.
But he soon lost 13 stone after a gruelling diet and fitness routine - and boasted about his results on This Morning.
I took two weeks off training but I was still going down the gym everyday even though I was told to rest in bed

He told Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield: "Basically my heart rate was too high and with my weight at the same time, it was a risk.
"They said they couldn’t put me to sleep, they had to sedate me instead of putting me to sleep because I’m still a big risk.
"But luckily they shocked me once and it all went back to normal. I’m just on medication now.
Since overhauling his lifestyle, he has found it difficult to stay away from the gym - even going when he was supposed to be on bed rest.
He added: "I took two weeks off training but I was still going down the gym everyday even though I was told to rest in bed.
"I was still going down there, even just sitting there. I’ve made friends for life down the gym. I used to be the person that avoids gyms now I can’t imagine going a day without it."
Trainer Mike added: "To be honest, it gets me emotional because we were told he was gonna die, and now he’s got his life back.
Proud, I don’t know how else to say. He’s like a brother."
Dibsy is now hoping to have lost 20 stone by the end of the year.
