Horror as student collapses & dies days after ‘coming down with common cold’ – leaving family desperate for answers
A DEVASTATED mum has told how her daughter collapsed and died just three days after coming down with a "common cold."
Precious Moroke was rushed to hospital with "flu-like" symptoms before she tragically died on January 15 after collapsing at her family home in Glasgow.
Her death is being treated as unexplained and her heartbroken family are searching for answers.
The Scottish Immunology and Pharmacology student had come down with cold symptoms three days earlier and her family had "no idea" it would be more serious.
Devastated mum Nomvula Booi said: "It was so sudden. She got a kind of cold or flu a few days before and then she collapsed in the house.
"All she had said is that she had a cold, and we had gotten some remedies from the shop. We didn't know that it was more serious.

"I don't understand how this could have . She was not an ill person she was really healthy."
Precious worked at Morrisons while studying at The Strathclyde University.
Her mum said working in healthcare was her daughter's biggest dream and she was "so passionate" about her studies.
Colleagues described her as a hard-worker and humble person and it's said her school friends will really miss her.

Nomvula has set up a fundraiser in memory of her beloved daughter.
On GoFundMe, the heartbroken mum writes: "I just lost my beautiful kind daughter Precious suddenly.
"I am devastated to lose such a beautiful soul. A kind, helpful person to everyone young and old that knows her.
"Every donation is very much appreciated to give my daughter a send off she deserves.
"All the funds donated for Precious will cover her funeral expenses and a well deserved celebration of her life we have shared with with her.
