THE parents of a four-year-old boy who died of sepsis after being prescribed Calpol hope to get answers at an inquest which starts today.
Lindita Alushi and Kastriot Klosi took son Daniel to hospital four times in the week before his death — but he was repeatedly discharged.
During the second and third visits the couple claim doctors advised them to give their autistic son Calpol and Ibuprofen.
On their fourth visit to the Royal Free in Camden, North London, Daniel was admitted to the children’s emergency department with sepsis.
He died hours later on April 2, 2023.
His mum Lindita, 44, a qualified doctor in her native Albania, said: "We still struggle to understand what happened to Daniel and why.
